Michael Fichtenmayer is one of gunpla’s most talented and versatile artists. He truly is a master of his domain. As you see before you is a fine example of his work. The Tallgeese 1/100 kit is not one of the better designed kits available, but in the right hands can prove to be a beautifully sculpted example of gunpla. I had actually thought about keeping my own kit in the box, but after reading through his progress log, as he does for each kit, I think I could actually make my own Tallgeese come alive. The Tallgeese has been a favorite of mine since I first saw Gundam Wing back in the day. Why do I always fall for the bad guys? Much like Michael, the Tallgeese I was my favorite iteration. (Although they were all so very cool. ^^) The Tallgeese gallery can be found here. The rest of Mr. Fichtenmayer’s website, FichtenFoo.com, is truly a sight to behold. So much so, that Bandai North America commissioned him to design the all-new BAKUC website. The new website is another example of Michael’s wonderful design talent.
